National Accreditation Awarded to BSA Child Development Center Articles / Current Events Date: Jul 18, 2007 - 11:53 AM Congratulations are in order for all the staff, parents and children of the BSA Child Development Center! On July 12, 2007, Director Alice Alvarez received official notification that the Center has been accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs. This prestigious designation is reserved for programs of outstanding quality. After an extensive self study process and an on-site evaluation of all areas of the program, curriculum and facility, BSA was awarded the designation of National Accreditation. BSA Child Development Center also received the seal of approval as a faith based early education program. Many thanks to all who helped us achieve this long awaited goal. Administrators, classroom staff and families each played a special role in building a quality learning experience for young children. We are joyfully celebrating this great achievement and look forward to further developing in excellence. Congratulations to all!!!
